JT Atkinson's have donated a signed & framed Manchester United football shirt to be auctioned to help raise funds for Northallerton's Friarage Hospital League of Friends MRI Scanner Appeal.
The authenticated shirt, signed by Sir Alex Ferguson's 2012/13 Premier League winning squad, which has a recommended insurance value of £3000.00 will be auctioned as part of the Northallerton Charity Football Reunion event on Friday the 26th of September, where event co-organiser Keith Caygill is expecting to attract bids from fans seeking an item of Manchester United memorabilia. The auction will be conducted by Mike Darwin from the Northallerton based MW Darwin & Sons at the event at The Troubadour in Northallerton, there will also be live music by The Beer Pigs, a Disco, buffet and a raffle. Northallerton's Friarage Hospital League of Friends are raising money to purchase the essential piece of equipment for the hospital that currently doesn't have one, meaning that patients from North Yorkshire are having to make the journey to Middlesbrough. Having an MRI scanner will not only provide diagnostic services closer to home, it also means that the future growing demand can be met, increasing the capacity across the organisation.
