JG Speedfit Spreader Plate (390x1000mm)  is a great product, used to minimize downward heat loss. This Plate is placed across traditional joists and fixed in place by a hand stapler. Once this has been put on there, the next step is to add insulation to the void below the plates, this makes sure the heat stays in place. It is easy to use and quick to install.
